Jollene Norton

Jollene Norton has an extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and environmental, social, and governance (ESG). Jollene started working at Steel Partners Holdings in 2003, where they held positions in investor relations, project management, chief of staff, and executive assistant until 2015. After that, they joined Steel Sports as a Director of Business Operations and Human Resources from 2015 to 2020. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Human Resources, DEI, and ESG at Backbone Media, LLC, and later at rygr.

Jollene Norton has pursued their education in various fields of study. Jollene studied International Relations and Affairs at the University of Colorado Boulder, followed by International/Global Studies at the University of Denver. Jollene also has a background in Fire Protection, which they studied at Oklahoma State University. Additionally, Jollene has obtained certifications such as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI, a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator certification from The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC), and they are a Registered Yoga Teacher certified by Yoga Alliance.
