Matthew Lynch

Vice President of Product at Backpack

Matthew Lynch is currently the Vice President of Product at Backpack, a position they started in November 2021. Before Backpack, they co-founded and served as the Chief Product Officer of Bractlet, an energy analytics platform company, from January 2012 until November 2021. Matthew was also a Systems Engineering Intern at CNH from May 2011 to August 2011, where they worked on developing and testing hydromechanical systems. In addition, they were a Research Intern at the University of Minnesota's Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power in 2010, working on wind turbine design optimization, and at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Hydrodynamics Lab from 2008 to 2010, where they designed and constructed a laminar flow test system for studying animal behavior.

Matthew Lynch earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Matthew also participated in the Georgia Tech Pacific Program at Victoria University of Wellington, although their degree and the duration of their time in the program are not specified.
