Javier de la Cruz

Javier De la Cruz has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Javier started their career at Cummins - EBU as a Material Coordinator, where they gained experience in production control, material planning, inventory management, and warehouse administration. Javier then moved on to Valeo Wiper Systems and Electric Motors, where they served as a Logistics Manager, responsible for material procurement, inventory management, production control, and implementing an ERP system. Javier later joined Cummins - PGBU as a Plant Manager, leading the plant team and driving improvements in cost, quality, and delivery. Javier was also responsible for implementing Lean manufacturing principles and supporting global manufacturing requirements. Javier then transitioned to Cummins - DBU as a Director, where they focused on developing and designing intelligent operations worldwide using continuous improvement tools such as Lean concepts and Six Sigma. Javier also led the implementation of 5S globally. At Lear Corporation, Javier held multiple roles, including Director of JIT Operations and Plant Director. In these roles, they were responsible for establishing and monitoring continuous improvement activities, implementing Lean principles, and coordinating plant activities to achieve manufacturing objectives. Javier then joined Faurecia as the Operation in CI and Strategies DIRECTOR for NA, where they led strategy and continuous improvement management for North America plants, driving efficiency through Lean principles. Most recently, Javier has been the Director of Operations and Director of Operations at Personal and Bader, respectively. Overall, Javier has extensive experience in operations management, continuous improvement, and implementing Lean principles across various industries.

Javier De la Cruz attended Instituto Tecnologico de San Luis Potosi from 1986 to 1992, where they earned a degree in Ingeniero Industrial with a focus on Logistics, Production, Operations, and Management. Javier also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de from 1986 to 1991.
