Ganesh Murdeshwar

Ganesh Murdeshwar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Software Developer at AccuMap EnerData for eight years. Ganesh then joined IHS Energy in 2000 as Director of Business Operations and Strategy. From 2004 to 2008, they held various leadership positions at IHS, including Vice President and General Manager in Canada and Vice President of Strategic Marketing. In 2008, they became VP Global Product Portfolio and Site Leader Canada at IHS. From 2010 to 2012, they served as President and COO of Tagle Information Technology Inc. Ganesh then worked at MicroSeismic, Inc as Vice President in Canada from 2012 to 2016. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Technology, Data, and Management Consultant for various industries, with a focus on the energy sector, partnering with BalancePoint Partners. In 2020, they co-founded cirkuit and served as the Head of Data until 2022. Most recently, they joined Suncor in 2021 as a Manager of Analytics, and in 2023, they will start a new role as the Director of Data Strategy and Governance at Badger Infrastructure Solutions.

Ganesh Murdeshwar earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta from 1983 to 1987. Ganesh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Dalhousie University from 1988 to 1989. Later, from 2005 to 2009, they obtained an MBA in Management from Athabasca University.
