Johan Östling has been working in the field of technology since 2004, when they began their career as a magician. In 2018, they started working as a Development Engineer at Scania Sverige, where they were the product owner of engine components and continued work on patent application nr 1851194-9 resulting from their master thesis. In 2019, they began working as a System Developer at Baffin Bay Networks, where they are a backend developer in the Cyber Security Domain with a proficient use of .NET core, C#, Node.js, Typescript, SQL, Docker, automated testing, Kafka Streams, and Kotlin/Java.

Johan Östling completed a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University in 2018.
