Jan Vidar Nalbant

Jan Vidar Nalbant has extensive work experience, starting with their role as CEO and Co-Founder of BagID from January 2016 to March 2023. In this position, they successfully led the company from a startup to a scaleup, achieving significant milestones. Jan Vidar was responsible for raising substantial growth capital, tripling the company's value from 2021 to 2022. Jan Vidar also played a crucial role in developing and commercializing two electronic luggage tags, expanding production internationally, and delivering high volumes globally. Jan Vidar took charge of sales and production, strategically building the company's turnover and profitability.

Before joining BagID, Jan Vidar worked as an Automation Engineer at OneCo from January 2015 to December 2018.

Jan Vidar Nalbant's education history is as follows. Jan Vidar attended Borgund videregående skole from 2008 to 2009, where they completed VG 1 in Basic Electro. Jan Vidar then continued at the same school from 2009 to 2010, completing VG 2 in the Electrician group L. In 2012, they attended Opplæringskontoret for maritime fag, where they obtained a degree as a Ship Electrician. From 2013 to 2015, Jan Vidar Nalbant attended FIALS and earned a degree as a Technical Automation Engineer. Lastly, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technical Integration and Product Development at VIA University College.
