Brandon Krull

Brandon Krull has a diverse work experience in the fields of data engineering, full-stack engineering, and operations. Brandon is currently the Head of Data and Engineering at Bags and a Founding Engineering Fellow #ODE1 at On Deck. Prior to these roles, they worked at AngelList as a Partner for their Early-Stage Quant Fund and later as a Lead Data Science Engineer. Brandon also gained experience as an Insight Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science. Before that, they co-founded Season Search and served as a Full Stack Engineer and Operations Manager. Brandon also worked at Noodle.ai as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and Data Engineer, and at Berkeley Lab as a Computational Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow.

Brandon Krull has a strong educational background in chemistry and biotechnology. Brandon completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Biotechnology at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2006 to 2010. Afterwards, they pursued further education at UC Irvine where they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry from 2010 to 2012. Brandon continued their studies at UC Irvine, specializing in Theoretical Chemistry with a focus on the development of non-local density functionals, and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from 2012 to 2015.
