Amal Jamal

Head - Business Development, Tourism at Bahrain Economic Development Board

Amal Jamal began their work experience in 2005 as an Assistant in the Financial Institutions Group at Standard Chartered Bank. In 2005, they moved on to become an Office Manager in the Undersecretary's Office at the Ministry of Works. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at BNP Paribas as a Client Management professional in Corporate & Investment Banking for the Middle East and Africa. Since 2014, they have been employed at the Bahrain Economic Development Board as Head of Business Development for Tourism.

Amal Jamal's education history begins in 2002 when they attended the University of Bahrain and obtained a diploma in Banking & Finance. Amal then pursued further education at the New York Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 2012, they enrolled at DePaul University and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance by 2013. Recently, in 2019, Amal attended the Harvard Business School for the Harvard ManageMentor Leadership Development Program, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
