Ofelia Wegley

Ofelia Wegley has had a diverse and extensive career in human resources. Ofelia most recently worked as a Senior Consultant at Wegtek Solutions starting in 2023. Before that, they held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Bailey Nurseries from 2020 until their transition to Wegtek Solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant specializing in human resources, holding various executive roles including Human Resources Executive and member of the Board Steering Committee for Human Resources & Risk Management. Ofelia also served as the Director of Human Resources at Pizza Luce and held key positions at Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative, KWS Services North America, ABM Janitorial Services North Central Inc., Ameriprise Financial, and ServiceMaster/ TruGreen Companies. Overall, Ofelia Wegley has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources with a track record of leadership and expertise.

Ofelia Wegley's education history began in 1982 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications - Public Relations (Radio & TV Broadcasting) from Universidad de Puerto Rico. Ofelia then attended the Advance School for Personnel Administrators from 1990 to 1991, earning an Associate degree in SPHR Certification. From 2005 to 2012, they pursued further education at the Institute for Applied Management & Law, specializing in Human Resources & Law and obtaining The Advanced Certificate in Benefits & Employee Relations Law. In 2012, Ofelia attended the SHRM GPHR, where they completed a GPHR Certification and Preparation Course.
