Mark Hunter

Mark Hunter is an experienced professional with a strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and market data analysis. Currently serving as a Sourcing and Spend Specialist at Baillie Gifford since June 2005, Mark oversees the firm’s strategic vendor management and provides guidance on purchasing activities to ensure optimal quality and cost. Previous roles include External Data Supplier Relationships, where Mark managed interactions with third-party vendors, and Market Data Analyst/Team Leader at State Street. Mark's earlier experience spans positions in market data analysis at The Wm Company and Royal Bank of Scotland Business, as well as a role as Banking Officer. Mark holds educational qualifications from the Royal High School, attended from 1987 to 1993.
