Debadarshi Sengupta has an extensive work experience in the field of Learning and Development (L&D) and Talent Management. Debadarshi started their career in 2002 at HSBC, where they held various roles including Manager-Learning and Development and Leadership and Management Development Manager. Debadarshi then moved to Tata-AIG Life Insurance Company as a Manager-Corporate Training before joining Tata AIG Life Insurance as a National Specialist Trainer. In 2012, they joined Tata-AIA Life Insurance as a Corporate Training and Development Manager, where they were responsible for creating the national strategy for L&D and partnering with department heads to identify learning needs. Debadarshi later joined AON Global as an Associate Vice President- Human Resources and Head L&D, followed by a role as Director-Global Talent Development at MasterCard. Currently, they are working at Bajaj Allianz Life as the Head of L&D, Talent Management, and OD, where they have successfully trained the highest number of employees in the last four years.

Debadarshi Sengupta has a diverse education history. Debadarshi obtained a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Technical Training Institute from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from North Bengal University from 1998 to 2000. In 1979, they completed their ISC degree in Science from Assembly of God Church. Later, Debadarshi earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in HR from Sikkim Manipal University from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in MBTI from Anahat Organisation Development Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. and in Coaching from Neuro-Linguistic Business Coaches Association. Debadarshi also holds a certification in DISC from Thomas Assessments Pvt. Ltd.
