Terrance Codd has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Terrance started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Kent State University in 2007. Terrance then went on to work at The Ohio State University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they conducted research on jet-cooled radicals and gained experience in laser equipment operation and software development. At the same university, Terrance also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching classes, instructing students on lab practices, and grading assignments.

In 2014, Terrance joined QC Holdings Inc as a Programmer II, where they primarily worked with C# for web and windows applications in the financial industry, extensively using T-SQL for data-driven apps. Terrance remained with the company until 2017.

Currently, Terrance is employed at Balance Innovations, a Brink's Division, as a Senior Software Engineer. Terrance'swork involves building event-driven, real-time reporting applications using AWS services. Terrance'steam's focus is replacing a legacy ETL-based reporting application with cloud-native solutions, utilizing various AWS technologies such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, Dynamo DB, and Fargate.

Throughout their career, Terrance has demonstrated a strong technical skill set and a passion for software development and data analysis.

Terrance Codd earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics from Southern Nazarene University. Terrance attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Then, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physical Chemistry from The Ohio State University, where they completed their studies from 2008 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Terrance Codd has also obtained certifications in the field of Amazon Web Services (AWS). In October 2019, they achieved the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from the same institution.
