Manikandan Saravanan

Manikandan Saravanan has had a long and varied work experience. Manikandan started their career in 2006 as a Trainee at MindLogicx Ltd. Manikandan then moved to SVL Technologies as a Developer. In 2008, they joined HCL Technologies as a Senior Technical Lead for Cisco Systems (CODC). In 2017, they moved to Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they returned to HCL Technologies as a Senior Technical Lead for Cisco. Finally, in 2019 they joined Wipro Limited as an Architect, and in 2022 they will join Balbix as a Sr. Staff Engineer. Throughout their career, Manikandan has worked with a variety of technologies, including Java 8, Scala, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, DataStax Cassandra, Kafka, Akka, Web services, REST, JavaScript, RabbitMQ, Spring Data Cassandra, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JSP, Servlets, Linux, Apache Tomcat, Multithreading, Micro Services, and JUnit. Manikandan has also used AGILE (SCRUM) methodology with sprint planning every two weeks.

Manikandan Saravanan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras between 2000 and 2003. Manikandan then went on to obtain a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science from Anna University between 2003 and 2006. Manikandan also holds two certifications from Sun Microsystems, including a Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD) and a Sun Certified Web Component Developer for Java 2EE (SCWCD).
