Nitish Garikoti

Nitish Garikoti has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Smartron, where they tested, analyzed, and submitted observations of android applications on Smarten devices to the development team. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Business Development Executive at Career Launcher, where they created new business opportunities by conducting market research among 4,000 students, negotiated with educational institutes, and convinced around 200 students to enroll in CL courses. In 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they designed Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to predict shot accuracy and phase of the shot motion, analyzed Ice Hockey data from Pittsburgh Penguins players, and implemented federated LSTM to understand the gait parameters of the players. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer, AI at Balbix.

Nitish Garikoti obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad between 2012 and 2016. Nitish then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Data & Network science) at Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2021. In January 2021, they obtained a Physical Science Responsible Conduct of Research Course from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY.
