Roy Hubbleday

Roy Hubbleday is a Consents Engineer at Balfour Beatty. Roy has been with the company since July 2003, starting as a Pre-Construction Officer. In this role, they were responsible for producing CDM documentation for new Gas Diversion and Mains Replacement projects in the Pre Construction Department. This included Environmental issues, Easement and Wayleave, customer service, Asbestos awareness, Utility search & observation on site, Liaising with County Councils and Traffic Management issues. Roy also spent a brief spell in the Design Department processing the first stage of the customers request for diverting gas apparatus that may affect their development. Roy would produce a bill of materials and labour quote and post out to customer. This followed a previous secondment in the Health & Safety/Training Department. Other areas they have worked in include; managing Purge & Relights for Murphy Group; progressed to Project / Pack Closure in Data Department and Tuped to Enterprise to carry on the role as Gate Keeper.

Before joining Balfour Beatty, Hubbleday was an Account Manager at Control Group from January 2001 to December 2003.

Roy Hubbleday's educational career includes studying Monitoring Excavation with Bituminous materials - Reinstatement, Monitoring Excavation in the Road / Highway - Reinstatement, and Monitoring Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways at the SCQF Level 6 at Total Training. Roy also has an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration from Work Based Certification. Additionally, they have a Plumbing and Related Water Supply Services Level 3 Plumbing Certificate from Hall Green College. Finally, they attended Matthew Boulton Technical College and Kingshurst Comprehensive.
