Greg Afonso

Greg Afonso, MASc, EIT, is a research engineer with extensive experience in engineering design and innovation. Currently employed at Ballard Power Systems since March 2017, Greg has previously held positions at The University of British Columbia in various roles from February 2013 to July 2017, where responsibilities included designing test apparatuses for chemical and biological engineering. Prior to that, Greg worked as a design engineer at Zaber Technologies, focusing on manufacturing jigs, and contributed to research at the National Research Council Canada Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation. Academic credentials include a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Engineering.
