Amlan Pentiah

Amlan Pentiah has a diverse work experience history. Amlan began their career as a Cashier at Little Tokyo Express in 2007 and later worked as a Camp Counselor at the YMCA. In 2009, they worked as a Photographer for East Tennessean. From 2010 to 2012, they served as Bar Staff at Stirfry Group. In 2015, they became a Beer Artist at Studiobrew. Amlan then worked as Parks and Recreation Staff at the City of Kingsport in 2016. In the same year, they were also a Research Assistant at East Tennessee State University, reporting the implementation of an application for promoting reading in Special Education classrooms. Amlan worked as a Survey Technician at Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers from 2017 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Field Research Assistant at East Tennessee State University, collecting and analyzing data for a Soil Erosion Study. In 2019, they joined Balzer & Associates, Inc. as a Land Surveying Technician and later became a Survey Party Chief.

Amlan Pentiah began their education at Red Bank High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2008. Afterward, they attended East Tennessee State University from 2008 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science. In 2016, Amlan returned to East Tennessee State University and completed their education in 2019, obtaining a degree in Surveying and Mapping, specializing in Surveying Technology/Surveying.
