Prabhat Ranjan

Prabhat Ranjan has an extensive work experience in the banking sector. Prabhat currently serves as the Head of Market Risk at Bandhan Bank since January 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at Lakshmi Vilas Bank from August 2017 to December 2019. Prabhat also worked as a Deputy Vice President at Axis Bank from December 2008 to July 2017. Prabhat Ranjan's career began with Assistant Manager role at UCO Bank from March 2004 to August 2006. Prabhat then worked as a Senior Manager at Bank of Maharashtra from September 2006 to November 2008. Prabhat Ranjan's initial banking experience started as an Officer at Standard Chartered Bank from May 2003 to October 2003.

Prabhat Ranjan obtained an MBA degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a B.Com degree in Commerce from Vidyasagar College from 1995 to 1998. In their earlier years, they attended Maulana Azad College, Kolkata from 1992 to 1994, and Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1984 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Financial Risk Management from the GARP FRM Program in 2009, and in CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance in 2008.
