Saket Kumar Sinha

Saket Kumar Sinha has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Saket Kumar is currently working as a Senior Vice President - Head Integrated Risk Management at Bandhan Bank since October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head Risk Management (Director) at TransUnion CIBIL Limited from December 2022 to October 2023.

Before joining TransUnion CIBIL Limited, Saket worked at Bank of Baroda for several years. Saket Kumar served as a Deputy General Manager from June 2020 to December 2022, and as an Assistant General Manager from June 2017 to June 2020. In their role as Assistant General Manager, they were responsible for managing an Exceptionally Large Size Business Unit in Mumbai, overseeing credit proposals, direct assignments, customer service, compliance, and other related functions.

Prior to their tenure at Bank of Baroda, Saket worked at Bank of Baroda Botswana Ltd as the Head of Compliance and Risk Management from October 2014 to May 2017. Before that, they held the position of Head of Credit Risk at Bank of Baroda Botswana Ltd from April 2011 to August 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing the bank's credit portfolio, policy formulation, audit compliance, and regulatory compliance.

Saket's career in the banking industry began at Bank of Baroda in 1999, where they served as a Senior Manager Credit from October 2009 to April 2011. Prior to that, they held various roles including Manager at different locations in Bihar, where they mainly worked in credit and operations departments. Saket Kumar also started their career as a Probationary Officer at Bank of Baroda, working at several branches over a period of five years.

Before joining the banking sector, Saket worked as a Divisional Accountant at the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (CAG India) from October 1996 to January 1999. Saket Kumar also worked as an Assistant at State Bank of India from October 1995 to October 1996.

Saket Kumar Sinha obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Graduation from Magadh University in Bodh Gaya from 1989 to 1992. In addition, they have earned several certifications including Certification Programme in IT and Cyber Security from Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) in 2021, OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT from National Institute of Bank Management in 2021, Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2020, Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from GARP FRM Program in 2020, Baroda Emerging Leadership Program from Aon in 2018, Baroda Emerging Leadership Program from INSEAD in 2018, and CAIIB from IIBF in 2004.
