Biswajit Das is the current Chief Risk Officer at Bandhan Bank Ltd. Prior to their current position, they served as the Head-Risk Based Supervision and Regulatory Reporting at ICICI Bank from April 2014 to January 2016. Biswajit was also the Head:Business Loans at ICICI Bank from May 2011 to March 2014, where they were responsible for managing the entire P&L of the business, mobilization of fresh loans, product development, policy formulation, and building up channel & processes for credit control. Under their leadership, the business saw a four-fold increase in Business Numbers, portfolio turned around to become major profit center in Retail SBU, three fold increase in Sales productivity, more than 100% decrease in end to end customer TAT, and drastic reduction in credit losses by more than 75%.

Biswajit Das attended an SMP in General Management at the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta. Biswajit also holds a B.Sc. in mathematics from St. Xavier's College in Ranchi. Additionally, they have an AISSE in English, Hindi, Maths, Science, and Social Sciences from Vivekananda Vidya Mandir in Ranchi. Finally, they also have a bachelor's degree from st. xavier's college.
