Michelle Somerville

Michelle joined our board as an independent non-executive director in December 2014.

As well as sitting on our board, she also holds the following positions on the committees of the board:

chair of the Audit Committee; and

member of the Governance & Remuneration Committee.

Michelle brings deep finance, risk and governance experience to the board, having worked with listed and non-listed clients in Australia and overseas.

Previously, she spent nearly 14 years working as an assurance partner with KPMG, where she was responsible for the external audits of many companies across various sectors (including financial services, not-for-profit, manufacturing and energy in both Australia and the United States).

Michelle is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for The GPT Group, IOOF Holdings Ltd, Down Syndrome Australia and Save the Children.
