Marilena Stefan

Marilena Stefan has extensive work experience primarily in the banking industry. Marilena currently holds the position of VP Expert Group Data Office at UniCredit Bank Austria AG, PE-CEE since 2019. In this role, they have been involved in various projects including the Group Liquidity Data Base Roll Out to CEE LEs and the enhancement of the RRP data room. Marilena has also worked on the data model structure, entities contents, and interdependencies based on regulatory requirements. Additionally, they have been responsible for Group NII/Interest rate risk.

Prior to their current role, Marilena worked at UniCredit from 2016 to 2019 as an Expert System Analyst - MIS, Planning and Control CEE. From 2011 to 2015, they held the position of Senior professional - Data Governance, Strategy, Planning and Controlling CEE at UniCredit Bank Austria AG.

Before joining UniCredit, Marilena worked at UniCredit Bank Romania from 2002 to 2010. In this role, they held various positions including Senior System Analyst, Senior officer in the Treasury back office, and Swift officer in SWIFT Operations.

Marilena started their career at the Ministry of Finance in 1999 as an Expert Analyst Programmer in the Directorate General for Information Technology. Marilena worked in this role until 2002.

Marilena Stefan earned a Bachelor's degree in Economic Cybernetics from the Cybernetics, Informatic and Economic Sciences of Economics Academy between the years 1992 and 1998. Marilena'sfield of study was Cybernetics Sciences.
