Jerry Lumpkins

Jerry Lumpkins has over 25 years of experience in the banking and real estate industry. Jerry currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Valley Bank, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this, Jerry worked at Bank Leumi USA from 2020 to 2022, where they held the role of First Vice President and was responsible for providing balance sheet lending and banking services for commercial real estate owners and investors in Chicago and the Midwest.

Before joining Bank Leumi, Jerry worked at BMO Harris Bank from 2015 to 2020 as a Director in the Commercial Real Estate division. In this role, they provided financing for various property types across the Midwest, Arizona, and Florida.

Jerry also has experience as the Chairman of the Board and Commissioner at the Rockford Housing Authority from 2012 to 2018, where they served as part of the governing board responsible for managing the municipal housing corporation.

Their previous roles include Vice President at JPMorgan Chase from 2013 to 2015, where they specialized in multifamily lending, as well as Vice President at BMO Harris Bank from 2011 to 2013. Jerry also worked at Wachovia, US Bank, Union Bank of California, and Prudential Insurance earlier in their career, gaining experience in commercial underwriting, business relationship management, and registered securities and insurance representation.

Jerry Lumpkins has a varied education history. Jerry completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Double Major- History-Political Science at Rockford University. Jerry also pursued an MBA in Business at the University of Phoenix. In addition, they studied History at Augustana College.

Jerry Lumpkins also engaged in further professional development by completing the Military Studies program at The Basic School in 1994, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership. Jerry later enrolled in the Management Credit Training Program at Union Bank of California from 1996 to 1998, specializing in Commercial Banking.

Additionally, Jerry Lumpkins obtained a certification in Introduction to Commercial Real Estate Analysis from LinkedIn in April 2020.
