Ruffy Felipe has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Ruffy began their career at Citi in 1999, where they held various roles including Transaction Banking Specialist and Product Manager. Ruffy contributed to the growth of the business through structured transaction banking solutions and strategic alliances. In 2005, they joined Metrobank as the Head of Cash Management Division, where they played a key role in starting up and growing the bank's cash management business. Ruffy formulated and executed the team's business roadmap for a wide range of business clients. Since 2017, Ruffy has been working at the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as the Head of Financial Institutions Coverage, Corporate Clients Segment. In this role, they lead a relationship team that provides coverage for local bank and non-bank FI clients, addressing their financing, investment, trust/retirement, FX, and transaction banking requirements.

Ruffy Felipe completed a Master's in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management between 1992 and 1994. Prior to that, they achieved a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University, spanning from 1984 to 1988.
