Catherine Zhong

Catherine Zhong, MBA, CFA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Catherine is currently serving as the Financial Reporting Manager Vice President at Bank of Southern California since October 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at MUFG from 2014 to 2023, including Vice President Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager in the Reporting Center of Excellence and Vice President, Financial System Manager in the Commercial Lending BUC. Before joining MUFG, they worked at Bank of America as a Sr Financial Analyst in the Investor Asset Management division. Catherine also has experience as a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed, a Financial Planner at MassMutual Financial Group, and an Account Manager at Alfa Laval. Catherine began their career at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd as an Assistant to the Chief Sales Representative.

Catherine Zhong has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Finance, obtained from PennWest Clarion during the years 2001-2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, General from Southwest China University of Finance and Economics, completing their studies between 1994 and 1997. Catherine also holds several certifications from the CFA Institute, including Private Markets and Alternative Investments Certificate, Chartered Financial Analyst, and milestone badges for the CFA Institute CE Program and PL Program. Catherine is set to obtain the Private Markets and Alternative Investments certification in 2023.
