Massimo de Piccoli

Massimo De Piccoli has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Massimo is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer & Technical Manager at Baomarc Automotive Solutions SpA since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Marelli, where they held the positions of Head of Operations from November 2019 to June 2022 and Plant Manager from October 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Marelli, De Piccoli worked at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from 2012 to 2019, where they served as the Manufacturing Engineering Powertrain Director EMEA from September 2015 to September 2019, and the Manufacturing Engineering Powertrain Director APAC from January 2012 to August 2015. Massimo was responsible for industrialization projects in China and India, scouting for new suppliers in Asia, and managing shareholder relationships in joint ventures and merger acquisition projects.

Prior to FCA, De Piccoli held the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager China at FPT Fiat Powertrain Technologies from September 2010 to December 2011. Massimo also worked at FPT Fiat Powertrain Technologies as the Manufacturing Engineering Process Manager Transmission from September 2006 to August 2010. Before that, they served as the Program Manager at Fiat-GM Powertrain from January 2004 to August 2006.

De Piccoli's earlier work experience includes roles such as Maintenance Site Manager at Comau from December 2001 to December 2003, General Manager at Infor Logistics from June 2001 to November 2001, and Head of Operations at Orizio Paolo SpA from June 1998 to May 2001. Overall, De Piccoli possesses extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in manufacturing engineering and operations management.

Massimo De Piccoli earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Ingegnere Meccanico) from Politecnico di Torino between 1986 and 1991. Massimo also holds two EFSET English Certificates with a score of 63/100, indicating an advanced level (CEFR C1), from EF Education First.
