Ronan MacSweeney

Ronan MacSweeney is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and law. Currently serving as a Board Director at legalsuper since May 2025, Ronan also holds multiple leadership roles at The Law Society of NSW, including Senior Vice President and various council positions. Additionally, as the Head of Legal & Company Secretary at BaptistCare NSW & ACT, Ronan oversees legal affairs. Previous roles include Deputy General Counsel at Transport for NSW and Senior Legal Counsel at Stockland. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Galway, an LL.M from The University of Edinburgh, and participation in the Erasmus exchange programme at Leiden University. Ronan is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
