Protus Yabunga

Protus Yabunga currently serves as a Pre Doctoral Fellow at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) since December 2023. In addition, Protus has been Projects Lead and Research Project Coordinator at Sentum Scientific Solutions since August 2020, focusing on Sexual Reproductive Health pilot research and evaluating mental health support in the Middle East. Previous roles include Qualitative Researcher at Oxford Policy Management, Nvivo Training Support at the University of Nottingham, and various research assistant positions at AMPATH Kenya and KEMRI - Wellcome Trust. Protus holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine and Translational Research from Universitat de Barcelona, a Master of Public Health from the University of Nottingham, and a PgDip in Health Research Methods from Pwani University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Moi University.
