Hannah Benson

Assistant Director of Student Advising at Barcelona SAE

Currently based in New Hampshire, Hannah grew up in New England and holds a bachelor’s degree in French and Comparative Literature from Williams College. She first lived abroad when she studied in Grenoble, France for a semester, after which she could not stay away from the constant discovery and stimulation of life overseas! She returned to Europe after undergrad to teach high school English in Andorra and France, and remained abroad to pursue her master’s degree European Literary Cultures from the Université de Strasbourg (France) and the Università di Bologna (Italy). While working in Andorra, she spent many weekends exploring Barcelona and Catalunya, learning Catalan, and eating too much pa amb tomàquet. When she’s not trying to convince other people to spend time abroad, you can find her frolicking in the mountains, experimenting in the kitchen, or fine-tuning her language skills – she speaks four languages and Spanish is next on the list!
