Alaine Nuttle

Director, Marketing Science at Barefoot Proximity

Alaine Nuttle has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alaine started their career as a Senior Staff Writer at The Miami Student in 2009 and later worked as a Public Relations professional at The J.M. Smucker Company in 2012. Alaine then joined the Howe Writing Center as a Writing Consultant in 2010. Alaine also worked at POSSIBLE as an Associate Search Marketing Analyst from 2013 to 2014, and later as a Search Marketing Analyst in 2015.

In 2011, Alaine became involved with Alaine'sCampus Media and held multiple positions, including Contributing Writer, Campus Correspondent, and Senior Chapter Advisor. During their tenure, they co-founded a Alaine'sCampus chapter at Miami University and led a team of over 30 students. Alaine earned Silver Level chapter recognition for outstanding content, publicity events, social engagement, and chapter operations.

From 2015 to 2016, Alaine worked at Empower as a Content Marketing and SEO Specialist. Alaine'sresponsibilities included developing and executing effective content strategies for brands and conducting audience research in the car care and DIY/craft consumer landscape. Alaine also planned and maintained sustainable publishing programs to generate desired audiences.

Since 2016, Alaine has been associated with BAREFOOT. Alaine initially served as a Channel Integration Specialist and was responsible for creating digital strategies that incorporated relevant channels. In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Channel Integration Specialist, where they led a team to implement and enhance digital campaigns while supporting sales efforts. In 2020, Alaine was promoted to Associate Director and finally became the Director of Marketing Science in 2022. In this role, they lead a strong team focused on digital measurement, site analytics, and SEO. Alaine also contributes to digital thought leadership to support client work and develops centers of excellence in digital advertising, including SEM and SEO.

Alaine Nuttle attended Miami University from 2009 to 2013. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business/Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism. Alaine'sminor was in Interactive Media Studies.
