Claire N. White, MA, SPHR has a diverse work experience in human resources spanning over several organizations. Most recently, they joined Barings in 2021 as the Senior Director, HR Strategy & Governance. Prior to this role, Claire was the Director, Talent Management at Barings, where they led the global talent management center of expertise, focusing on learning and leadership development, employee engagement and experience, and talent planning. Claire also completed a one-year international assignment in London during their tenure at Barings.

Before joining Barings, Claire worked at Wells Fargo as a Performance Management Senior Consultant from 2020 to 2021. At TIAA, they held two positions: Director, HR Business Partner from 2018 to 2020 and Director, Talent Management & Chief of Staff from 2014 to 2018. In these roles, Claire led various teams responsible for innovating performance management, career development, and served as a chief of staff supporting the Chief Talent Officer.

Prior to TIAA, Claire was a Talent Management Consultant and Senior HR Business Partner at Duke Energy Corporation from 2008 to 2014. In this role, they delivered performance management, succession planning, talent acquisition, and career development solutions to the organization. Claire also led the M&A integration for Talent Management and supported the Finance department as a lead HR business partner.

Claire started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2007 to 2009.

Claire N. White, MA, SPHR completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2007. Claire then pursued their Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2007 to 2009. In 2020, they obtained the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
