Andrew Briggs

Andrew Briggs is an accomplished Business Intelligence Technical Manager at Barnsley Council, a position held since September 2019, where management of an award-winning technical BI team is a primary focus, facilitating a data-led approach to local government service delivery. Prior to this role, Andrew served in various capacities at Calderdale MBC from March 2005 to August 2019, including Business Improvement and Intelligence Technical Lead, Lead Business Intelligence Officer, and Corporate GIS Officer. Andrew holds a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice with Distinction from the Chartered Management Institute, attained from April 2022 to August 2023, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management from Lancaster University, completed in July 2001.
