Kyle Sohner

Kyle Sohner is a Geographic Information System Specialist at Barr Engineering Co. since November 2022, with previous experience as a GIS Specialist at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission from April 2020 to November 2022. At MORPC, Kyle contributed to the Data and Mapping Team, focusing on regional collaboration, transportation, and sustainability across a 15-county area. Prior roles include GIS Technician at Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, where Kyle maintained geospatial databases and conducted fieldwork, and VP of Operations at Tenspeed Productions, specializing in event services for cycling and running races. Earlier experience includes serving as a GIS Intern at Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District and holding leadership positions as President and Vice President of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. Kyle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Geography from Ohio University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
