Oscar Yeh joined Intrinsic in 2004 and was initially responsible for the pre-clinical evaluation of the Barricaid in benchtop, cadaveric, and animal testing. He has held multiple leadership roles within Intrinsic and is currently responsible for research efforts stemming from the clinical and radiographic data collected in the Barricaid randomized clinical trial.
Oscar joined Intrinsic from the University of California, Davis Medical Center where he collaborated on basic science research projects within the Orthopaedic Surgery department. Research efforts included the response of musculoskeletal tissues to mechanical loading through the use of animal models, biomechanical testing, histology, finite element analysis, and constitutive modeling.
