De Laureles Jr.

DE Laureles Jr. is an experienced professional in engineering and management, currently serving as the EAM (Maximo) Development and Reliability Engineering Manager at BART since March 2012, previously holding the position of Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer. Prior to BART, DE Laureles Jr. worked as a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at Tesla Motors for a short tenure in 2011, and as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Calisolar, overseeing the daily production of solar cells. DE Laureles Jr.'s earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Equipment Maintenance Supervisor at NUMMI, where responsibilities included supporting production and engineering through maintenance and repair of equipment. An industrial engineering background was established with a B.S. degree obtained from California State University - East Bay between 1999 and 2004. Prior experience also includes work as an Industrial Engineer at UPS, focusing on process design and efficiency improvements.
