Nic Stoyer, CRFP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction and facilities management industry.
Nic began their career in project management at Gooseworks Inc. in 2004, where they successfully managed a $1.5 million contract for fire alarm, data systems, VoIP, and paging installations.
In 2012, they joined Integrated Systems & Security Technologies as a Project Manager, overseeing government projects at Dover Air Force Base and Atlantic City Airport, managing production, manpower, sub-contracting, inspections, budgets, and project planning.
Stoyer then moved to Bertucci's in 2013, where they served as the Director of Construction and Facilities. In this role, they worked with a team to re-image and re-brand Bertucci's/2 Ovens locations, maintaining a fast-paced build schedule and supporting over 60 locations throughout the northeastern United States.
From 2015 to 2019, Stoyer worked as the Director of Facilities at Nando's PERi-PERi North America, where they developed systems and procedures to support the company's rapid expansion. Nic implemented cost-effective preventive maintenance programs, built strong vendor/partner relationships, developed educational programs for store managers, and managed capital budgets and energy efficiency programs.
In 2019, Stoyer joined Singer Equipment Company as a Project Manager, collaborating with restaurant construction managers, designers, and owners to provide high-quality equipment installations nationwide.
Nic then served as the Director of Construction and Facilities at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant from 2021 to 2022, overseeing construction projects and facilities management.
Since 2020, Stoyer has also owned and operated Reliable Repairs LLC, a company specializing in repairs and maintenance services.
Currently, Stoyer is the Director of Facilities at bartaco, where they are responsible for the management of facilities operations.
Additionally, starting in 2023, Stoyer will be on the Customer Advisory Board for Ecotrak Facility Management Software.
Nic Stoyer, CRFP has a diverse education history. In 2000, they enrolled in Penn State University and studied Business Administration and Management, General until 2005. In 2005, they also attended the Associated Builders & Contractors Inc, specializing in Electrical.
In 2007, Nic obtained a certification in Copper and Optical Fiber Communications from Leviton Network Solutions. In the following year, 2008, they received a certification from Stanley Security Solutions.
Moving forward, in 2012, Nic obtained the NICET Level 2 Fire Alarm certification.
Returning to formal education, Nic completed the Retail Facility Management Professional degree from the Professional Retail Management Association in 2018. Nic further pursued their professional development by earning the Certified Restaurant Facility Professional degree from the Restaurant Facility Management Association in 2017.
Lastly, in 2021, Nic acquired leadership skills through the Leadership RFMA program offered by the Restaurant Facility Management Association.
It's worth noting that Nic's highest level of education attained is a certification, as they did not complete a degree program at Penn State University.
