The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Base. You'll play a vital role in crafting, executing, and overseeing our multi-channel marketing strategy. This encompasses everything from digital and social media channels to marketing automation and .

As a key member of the Base team, you'll wear multiple hats and be both strategic and hands-on. You'll develop the vision and roadmap for our marketing efforts, while also diving in to execute key initiatives. You’ll be the one-person marketing force, leading and overseeing all marketing activities with the support of outsourced resources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that combine advertising, social media marketing, and sales efforts. You'll work closely with outsourced resources to ensure seamless execution.

  • Create and manage engaging webinars and events to generate leads and nurture customer relationships.

  • Lead the development and management of a comprehensive brand strategy and marketing plan, including product marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and execute marketing events including the annual customer summit.

  • Manage targeted email campaigns, develop automated drip campaigns aligned with customer journeys and profiles, and manage marketing automation on HubSpot.

  • Build, track, and report on SEM, paid social media campaigns, and establish a data-driven marketing strategy.

  • Oversee website management using platforms like WordPress and HubSpot.

  • Identify and evaluate new digital platforms and leverage AI tools to elevate the marketing department.

  • Analyze marketing data to identify issues and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, particularly in a startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B customer journeys and the ability to translate that knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
  • Experience with product marketing and creating compelling product messaging is a plus.
  • Experience working with HubSpot and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A data-driven approach with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Experience creating and managing webinars and events is a plus.
