Neal Derman

Neal Derman is a Senior Software Engineer currently working in the Payments team at Bash since January 2023, responsible for maintaining existing systems and designing new e-commerce payment systems. Prior to this role, Neal held positions including Senior Back-End Engineer at Yoco and Senior Software Developer at Nona Digital, where work focused on web3 projects, including a token burning system for the Solana blockchain. Additional experience includes contributions at SaltPay in acquiring transaction systems, Software Engineer at xneelo (Pty) Ltd working on APIs and micro-services, and full-stack development at TravelGround.com. Neal also has a background in troubleshooting at SKA South Africa and Lodox Systems, alongside research and development roles at CSIR and Shrike Marine. Neal holds a BScEng in Information Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
