Filomena Martinelli

Filomena Martinelli has over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. Filomena began their career in 2003 as an Associate Designer at Happy Kids, where they designed seasonal collections for Bratz, Tweety, Hillary Duff and Spy Girls. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Reebok, specializing in Greg Norman men's and women's golf division. Filomena then moved to Mayime Bro. as a Graphic Designer, creating graphics and prints for licenses "That's so Raven" & "Zoey 101" for sizes 4-6x and Girls 7-16. In 2006, they joined Intertex Apparel Group as a Graphic Designer, specializing in junior's knits for private labels Love Lola, Pinkish & U. S. Polo. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Topsville Inc, designing print repeats, screen prints, embroideries and appliques for licensed tween apparel. During the same period, they also worked as a Freelance Cad Artist at Childrens Place and Limited Brands, creating flats and prints for Fall/Holiday presentation storyboards and developing Stripes, Fairisles and Prints on sweater graphs for sampling and production. Filomena also created prints and graphics for Victoria Secret Pink apparel, swimwear and intimates in Adobe Illustrator. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Artist at Berkshire, designing graphics for Hello Kitty accessories and creating CADs and all presentation boards. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Production Artist at Isaac Morris. In 2018, they joined Basic Resources, Inc. as a Designer.

Filomena Martinelli attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained an AAS in Fashion Design. Filomena then attended CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a B-Tech in Communication Design.
