Mariam Abodouma

Mariam Abodouma has a diverse work experience in the education field. Mariam started their career as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at The International School of Choeifat in 2004 and then moved on to become a Mathematics Teacher at ISF Internationale Schule Frankfurt in 2007. Mariam later worked as a Special Education Teacher at The Egyptian Advance Society for Persons with Autism and Other Disabilities from 2009 to 2010. After that, they joined SABIS Educational Systems, Inc. as a Director of Student Life from 2010 to 2013, where they coordinated and promoted various student-led projects and events. Mariam then worked as a Mathematics Teacher at SABIS Educational Systems, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined BASIS Independent Schools and took on multiple roles, including Subject Expert Teacher & Teacher Mentor, Associate Head of Schools, and Lead Teacher Mentor. Mariam'sresponsibilities included teaching higher-level content, designing effective lessons, collaborating with other teachers, managing student behavior, and co-advising the BASIS Independent Silicon Valley DECA chapter. Mariam continued working at BASIS Independent Schools until the present, gaining extensive experience in teaching and leadership roles.

Mariam Abodouma began their education journey in 2000, where they enrolled at Ain Shams University. Mariam pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Commerce, General, and completed their studies in 2003.

Later, in 2022, Mariam Abodouma pursued further education at the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Mariam obtained a State of California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Business. The specific end year for this program is not provided.
