Jayaram Sreevalsan

Jayaram Sreevalsan has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Jayaram started their career at JBoss as a Contributor, where they contributed to the development of an object to xml model generator and prototyped a UI for the rules engine. Later, they joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Software Engineer and Associate Projects, where they focused on strategic consulting for insurance product companies and led the development of point of sales solutions in the insurance domain. Jayaram then worked at Marlabs Inc as a Consultant before joining Agencyport as a Tech Lead, where they conducted research, developed prototypes, and provided technical leadership. At Agencyport Software, they served as a Solutions Architect and was responsible for the overall design and solution architecture of software platform implementations. Jayaram then became a Senior Architect at Xuber, where they outlined architecture descriptions and organized the development effort of systems solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering at Basis Technology, where they enable a team of engineers to design and develop Cyber Triage, a forensics platform for cyber incident response. Jayaram brings expertise in object-oriented design, enterprise design patterns, and agile development processes to their roles, and they consistently demonstrate a passion for making cyberspace safer through their work.

Jayaram Sreevalsan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Dr Mahalingam College Of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. After working in the field for several years, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jayaram attended Georgia Tech from 2019 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Jayaram also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills. Jayaram completed courses such as "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" and "Computational Investing, Part I" from Coursera in 2013. Jayaram also obtained the "GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst" certification from the SANS Institute in November 2016.
