Subterranean Technician at Bat Conservation International

Sarah Truebe is an experienced professional in habitat conservation and research, currently serving as a Subterranean Technician at Bat Conservation International since December 2023 and as Habitat Conservation Manager at Sky Island Alliance since July 2021, where management of field stewardship projects and community science programs focusing on natural springs is key. Previously, Sarah held the position of Director of Research at The Underground Conservancy and managed cave resources at Kartchner Caverns State Park. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and multiple degrees from Stanford University, Sarah co-founded SAR3, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing rope science knowledge. Early career experience includes roles as Lab Manager and Research Assistant at Stanford University, contributing to research on gastropods.
