David Cusack

David Cusack is an accomplished education professional currently serving as Deputy CEO and Chief Executive Officer at Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, with a contract set to conclude on 15 March 2024. Previously, David held various roles at Curtin University, including Director of the Student Experience Division, acting Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies, alongside experience as Course Coordinator and Lecturer in the same department. Prior to this, David was Deputy Principal at Catholic Education Western Australia and worked as an Aboriginal Education Consultant for CEWA. David holds a Master’s Degree in Education (Leadership and Management) from The University of Notre Dame Australia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching (Primary) from Charles Darwin University.
