Director Of Technology Deployment at Idaho National Laboratory

Jason Stolworthy has extensive experience in technology deployment and intellectual property management. Jason is currently the Director of Technology Deployment at Idaho National Laboratory, where they lead efforts to transfer technologies to the private sector for public benefit. Previously, they served as the Deputy Director of Technology Deployment at the same organization, where they focused on transforming the talent base and engagement while anticipating changes in political environments. Prior to their roles at Idaho National Laboratory, Jason was the Director of Intellectual Property Management at Qatar Foundation. Jason also held positions as a Licensing Executive at Idaho National Laboratory and as a Patent Attorney and Associate Licensing Executive at Washington State University. Jason began their career as a Researcher and Consultant at the University of Idaho and also gained experience as an Assistant Chemist, Engineer, and Laborer at Simplot, Chemonics, and FMC.

Jason Stolworthy obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Idaho College of Law from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Jason also earned various bachelor's degrees from Idaho State University, including a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, all completed from 1996 to 1998. Before their university studies, Jason attended Shelley High School from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a high school diploma in General Studies. Jason also has several additional certifications, such as being a Certified Licensing Professional from the Licensing Executives Society, being admitted to the Idaho State Bar and the USPTO Bar, and being a member of the State Bar of Montana.
