Reza Goodarzi

Mechanical Engineer at Battolyser Systems

Reza Goodarzi is currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Battolyser Systems, a cleantech spin-off from Technische Universiteit Delft. In this role, they are involved in the development and manufacturing of a breakthrough integrated battery/electrolyser product that can store electricity and produce green hydrogen from renewable power.

Prior to their current position, Reza worked as a Research, Design, and Manufacturing Manager at Sina Ports & Marine Co. from April 2015 to September 2021. Their responsibilities included designing and manufacturing various parts needed for port equipment such as flippers, pulleys, twist locks, guide blocks, twist lock arms, and grain discharge hoppers.

Before joining Sina Ports & Marine Co., Reza worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Patsar Co. from May 2011 to February 2015. Reza also had a role as a Design Engineer at Arianna Modern Sanat Co. from 2010 to 2011.

Reza Goodarzi has a comprehensive education history in the field of engineering and business. Reza completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Imagineering from Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this, Reza obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production and Manufacturing Engineering) from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. Reza also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production and Manufacturing Engineering) from the University of Mazandaran, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Reza has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. Reza completed a course on Modern Industrial Hydraulics (HY511) from Festo in July 2018. Reza also acquired an Executive MBA certification from Sharif University of Technology in December 2016. In September 2004, Reza obtained a certification in Plastic Injection Mold Design from the Iranian Mold Makers Association.
