David Alexander

David Alexander has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles focused on compliance and ethics. David is currently the SVP and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Bausch Health Companies Inc. Prior to that, they served as the SVP, Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer at HMS, where they rebuilt and reinvigorated the Compliance & Ethics program. David also held the position of Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer at HMS, where they refocused company policies and supported RFP and client contracting processes. Earlier in their career, David worked as the Region Compliance Officer and Head of Integrity & Compliance at Alcon Laboratories, Inc., and as the Director of Global Integrity & Compliance, Pharmaceuticals at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. David also served as a Regional Attorney at Pfizer and as an Associate at law firms DLA Piper and K&L Gates. David started their career as a Law Clerk for Hon. Barbara M.G. Lynn at the US District Court, Northern District of Texas.

David Alexander has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Plan II, Government from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they are admitted to practice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.
