Catarina Miranda

Catarina Miranda's work experience includes being a QC Laboratory Technician at Bavarian Nordic since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde, where they completed their Master dissertation in a Laboratory animal science group from October 2019 to December 2020. Catarina also worked as a Replacement Laboratory animal caretaker from June 2019 to October 2019 at the same institute. Before that, they were a Trainee in the Laboratory animal facility at Instituto de Investigação Clínica e Biomédica de Coimbra (iCBR) from September 2018 to May 2019. Catarina also has experience as a BSc curricular intern at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro from February 2018 to June 2018.

Catarina Miranda has an extensive education history. Catarina obtained their Master's degree in Experimental Pathology from Universidade de Coimbra from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Licentiate degree in Biochemistry at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their degrees, Catarina has also obtained several certifications. In October 2021, they completed the "Introduction to Python and machine learning for the biosciences" certification from i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde. In December 2019, they obtained the certification for "Experimental design and analysis of data for research with animals" from the same institution.

Furthermore, Catarina has certifications in laboratory animal science. In January 2019, they completed the "II Modular Training in Laboratory Animal Science Function B (12 hours)" from Instituto de Investigação Clínica e Biomédica de Coimbra (iCBR). Prior to that, in March 2018, they obtained the certification for the "Laboratory animal science Course- Former Category B (equivalent now to Function A+D)- 40 Hours" from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
