Lasse Søegaard

Lasse Søegaard has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Lasse is currently the Head of Reporting, Planning, and Transformation at Bavarian Nordic since 2020, where they successfully manage monthly reporting, planning, and forecasting on a group level. Lasse has also driven transformation initiatives within the finance function, implementing ongoing estimation processes, conducting process assessments, and formulating a finance BI and system strategy.

Prior to their current role, Lasse worked at Coloplast from 2015 to 2020. Lasse held various positions including Head of BI Development, where they guided and led the developer team, ensuring quality in BI solution deliveries. Lasse also acted as a liaison for Corporate Finance and Corporate IT, overseeing changes and implementation of accounting processes in the shared service center. Additionally, they served as an ERP Rollout Manager, planning and deploying fully equipped offices with a decentralized warehouse setup.

Before joining Coloplast, Lasse worked at PA Consulting Group from 2014 to 2015 as a Management Consultant. During this time, they worked on assignments for various clients across industries, including luxury retail, production, insurance, and shipping. Their responsibilities included POS analysis, project management, optimizing financial processes, training delivery, and project rollout.

Lasse also has experience working at Coop Danmark from 2010 to 2014, where they served as a Finance Business Process Consultant and Financial Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for management reporting, financial controlling, budgeting, organizational and financial master data, and business process optimization.

In addition to their industry experience, Lasse has also worked as an External Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School from 2010 to 2013, focusing on management information systems and internal control in accounting processes.

Prior to their extensive professional experience, Lasse worked as a Finance Consultant at Metropol in 2009 and as an Internal Auditor at KPD in the same year. Lasse started their career as a Consultant at Deloitte from 2006 to 2009.

Lasse Søegaard completed their education in a sequential manner. Lasse first pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Information Technology from Copenhagen Business School, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Lasse then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Auditing and Accounting from the same institution, completing it between 2006 and 2008. Prior to these academic achievements, Lasse also attended Himmelev Gymnasium, although the specific dates and the nature of any degree or field of study at this institution are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Lasse has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Lasse acquired the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification from APMG International in June 2021. In November 2016, Lasse earned the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Lasse also completed PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from APMG International in September 2015. Furthermore, Lasse gained the Cobit5.0 Foundation certification from ISACA in April 2015. Lastly, in March 2012, they completed the MicroStrategy Dynamic Enterprise Dashboards for Financial Services course offered by MicroStrategy.
