Alissa Vilkitskii

Alissa Vilkitskii has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Alissa started their career as a student in Brasserie Zwarte Zee, where they worked as a Hoofdober during the summer and other holidays. Alissa was responsible for serving and bartending, providing customer service in English and French.

After that, they worked at MaisonRouge as an Ober, serving at various events such as weddings, receptions, and corporate parties. Alissa supervised a small team, assigned tasks, and maintained good communication with the caterer and clients.

Alissa then joined Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof as a Runner in the LOF restaurant, working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for evening service and breakfast/brunch. Alissa prioritized customer service and effectively communicated with both the team and the kitchen.

Alissa also gained experience as an Ober at Hawaiian Poké Bowl, where they started as a student responsible for the Vlaanderestraat branch and later became an Assistant Manager at the Kalandestraat branch. In their role, they coordinated and supervised students, solved problems, and supported the manager in day-to-day operations.

Most recently, Alissa worked as a Zaalverantwoordelijke at Villa Anamma, where they were responsible for the dining area. Currently, they are an Assistant Manager at BAVET, starting in June 2022.

Throughout their work experience, Alissa has shown dedication, strong communication skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Alissa Vilkitskii attended Ghent University from 2014 to 2020, where they earned their Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. In 2018, they completed an internship at Collège de France, focusing on Biomedical Sciences. In 2017 and 2018, Alissa pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria. Additionally, in 2019, they participated in a short-term internship at Universidade Federal da Paraíba, further enhancing their knowledge in Biomedical Sciences.
