Rob was appointed president and publisher of the Marin Independent Journal (MIJ) in October 2015. He oversees all operations for the San Rafael-based media company, which includes MIJ, digital advertising solutions, specialty publications and other products.
Rob has worked in media for 24 years. Prior to MIJ, he was editor and publisher of a group of newspapers in Silicon Valley affiliated with The Mercury News and Bay Area News Group. He began his career as a reporter. He has served in roles such as editor, social media director and advertising manager.
